Sandblaster special
The Hepworth Ferguson 4 wheel drive ( Sandblaster Special), this car was built in 1968 by David Hepworth ultimatly for Formula 5000 and also hillclimbing .The car competed twice once in 5000 at the Oulton Park Gold Cup and Brands Hatch. A subsequent rule change banning four wheel drive in both Formula 1 and 5000 ment the end of circuit racing.
This unique car went on to score many hillclimb victories culminating in the British Championship in 1969 and 1971 with David Hepworth at the wheel.
