The Cooper Chevrolet hillclimbed by David Hepworth barks into life nearly 45 years after it last ran.
The Cooper / Chevrolet that laid dormant for over 40 years before bieng bought back by the Hepworth family was fired up for the first time after undergoing a total restoration in our workshops.
The project has seen a rebuild of every aspect of the car, and every thing from re-fabricating sections of the chassis, engine build, gearbox through to the refurbishment of the very rare Weber 46 DCF3 carburetors has been done in house.
The car was fired up last Friday at the very spot where it would have been test ran by David Hepworth in the mid 60's.
Further updates and full details of restoration will feature on restoration section of our web site shortly.
